In your Google Ads account, you are able to define the targeted county/countries in which you want to show your ads in. We noticed that even so, your ads are being shown in other countries.

The Block IPs By Country feature is a great second layer of protection in this case, as it allows blocking every "Out of Geo" IP that clicked on your ad, right after the first click.

If you don't target any specific country in your marketing strategy, this feature is still relevant for you, as it allows you to also block IPs clicking from certain countries that perform fraud on your account.

To navigate to this feature, log in to your dashboard and click on Domain Settings > Manage Detection Rules > scroll down to Block IPs By Country and enable it.

Here you can select whether to Block clicks from certain countries or Allow clicks from certain countries. Make sure to click on Update Allowed/Blocked Countries to save the changes made.

All clicks with IPs from those countries will now be allowed or blocked - after the first click, as we do need that one click to know where the click is coming from.
